Dial-A-Ride

Transit vehicles providing Dial-A-Ride service do not follow a fixed-route, but travel throughout the community transporting passengers according to their specific requests.

-DMV Identification card,
-Medicare Identification card with matching photo ID,
-another form of photo identification showing proof of age.

With Dial-A-Ride you can receive transportation to go shopping, or for medical appointments.

To ensure transportation is available, passengers are encouraged to contact the office as soon as they have a scheduled medical appointment Passengers should be ready 15 minutes before scheduled pick up time. If you are having a medical procedure involving anesthesia, you must have an aide with you on the bus. The driver will only pick up and drop off the aide at your residence.

Personal care Attendants

Individuals requiring special assistance are permitted to have an attendant accompany them or be allowed to travel with a service animal. An attendant may accompany a person with disabilities free of charge.

Since Dial-A-Ride is a shared-ride service, the driver may make other stops on the way to your destination. If you are unsure of how much time you should allot for your trip, please ask for suggestions when scheduling your pick-up.
